ITANAGAR, Aug 10: In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community service, Ziro Royal Enfielders, a motorcycle club from Ziro, donated clothes and essential grocery items to Deepak Nabam Living Home (DNLH) at Senki Park here.
The visit went beyond simply handing over the donated materials. Members of ZRE spent time interacting with the residents, listening to them sing and joining them in moments of music, dance and conversation. The lively interaction turned the charity visit into a memorable experience for both the residents and the visiting riders.
Speaking on the occasion, ZRE Chief Nending Ommo said that the initiative was a continuation of the club’s recent relief effort for flood-affected people in Sivasagar, Assam.
ZRE Vice Chief Hage Duyu said the visit also gave the members an opportunity to understand the remarkable work being carried out by Deepak Nabam and his team.
He added that witnessing the residents and the work being done for their care left a deep impression on the visiting members.
Thanking the ZRE team for the gesture, Deepak Nabam, Chairman of the ‘Living Home’, expressed his gratitude to the riders and said that such visits mean much more to the residents than material assistance alone.
Deepak also wished the riders safe rides wherever their passion for motorcycling take them and extended his best wishes to the members of ZRE in their lives and future endeavours.
He warmly invited the riders to visit the Living Home again, emphasizing that interaction with visitors brings happiness and a sense of belonging to many of its residents.
The initiative reflected ZRE’s efforts to take motorcycling beyond adventure and brotherhood by using the club’s collective strength for humanitarian and community causes.
