HGT: Likabali takes out bike rally to promote patriotism, national unity

LIKABALI, Aug 11: As part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign being observed across Lower Siang district since August 9, a grand Bike Rally was organized at Likabali today by the Lower Siang Police Department in collaboration with the District Administration, Department of Art & Culture, and IPR Lower Siang.

Aimed at promoting patriotism, national pride and the spirit of unity among citizens, particularly the youth, the rally was flagged off from Police Station Likabali by Naresh Shaukand, Sector DIG, ITBP, Likabali and Mokar Riba, ADC Likabali, in presence of HoDs, representatives from various organizations, personnel of ITBP, Arunachal Pradesh Police, GREF, AAPWW Lower Siang Unit and members of the public.

Around 450 participants took part in the rally, which covered an approximately 4.5-km route through Likabali. They proudly carried the national flag and raised patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride, unity and enthusiasm.

Addressing the gathering, Shaukand encouraged the youth to actively contribute towards nation-building and uphold the values of patriotism, unity and responsibility. He highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, and urged citizens to proudly display the tricolour and actively participate in activities that strengthen the spirit of national unity.

The event concluded with the inspiring message of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga’, reaffirming the district’s commitment to celebrating patriotism, unity and national pride, and encouraging every citizen to make the tricolour a symbol of collective participation in the HGT campaign. (DIPRO)
