Papum Pare-hosted series of training programs across PM SHRI Schools of the district concludes

YUPIA, Aug 14: In line with the vision of the Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) Scheme to transform selected schools into exemplar institutions promoting holistic, quality and future-ready education, the PM SHRI Cell, Office of the District Project Officer, ISSE–Samagra Shiksha, Papum Pare district organized a series of one-day training programmes across PM SHRI Schools of the district from August 6 to 13 under the Innovation Activities component of the scheme.

The series of programmes was inaugurated by T T Tara, DDSE-cum-DPO, Yupia on August 6.

The programmes were conducted at different PM SHRI schools across the district with the objective of providing students with practical, interactive and experiential learning opportunities. The activities included 21st Century Learning and Information Skills Training, Career Guidance and Counselling, Financial Literacy Education, Cyber Safety Awareness, Science Seminar-cum-Book Fair, Science Congress/Olympiad Competition, and PM SHRI Quiz and Debate Competition.

The programmes were organized in collaboration with Adhyayan Foundation, Itanagar, along with resource persons from the DDSE Office.

Students from PM SHRI NTGRS, Ompuli; PM SHRI GMS Bormai Nyishi; PM SHRI GMS Yupia HQ; and PM SHRI GRS, Nakar participated in various training programmes and competitions held during the week-long initiative.

PM SHRI GMS Yupia HQ secured the maximum number of prizes across the competitions, emerging as the leading-performing school among the participating institutions.

The series of programmes concluded on Thursday, providing students with a platform to enhance their critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, scientific temperament, digital awareness, financial literacy and career awareness. (DIPRO)
