Itanagar, Aug 18: Arunachal Pradesh Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak has been nominated as a member of the Official Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Tai Tagak on his nomination and said that his participation in the committee would provide an important platform to raise issues concerning energy access, infrastructure and development in Arunachal Pradesh and the wider Northeast in national discussions.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also congratulated the Rajya Sabha member, describing the nomination as a recognition of his experience and commitment to public service. He said the new responsibility would provide an opportunity for Tagak to contribute to important national deliberations in the energy sector.
Both leaders conveyed their best wishes to Tagak for a successful tenure and expressed confidence that he would discharge the responsibility with diligence and sincerity.
