The session was held in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme and Electoral Roll Observer Vivek HP.
Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Radhe Tatung provided the primary briefing on the operational roadmap for the SIR exercise in Ziro, detailing field verification protocols and procedural timelines designed to ensure an accurate voter registry.
Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) Hibu Kapi moderated the session, guiding discussions between administrative bodies and party members.
Delegates from local political organisations, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC), shared their ground-level observations and raised specific operational concerns regarding voter enrolment and verification procedures.
Addressing the gathering, the Observer emphasized the necessity of tight inter-departmental collaboration and active communication with party agents.
