Itanagar, Aug 26: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Wednesday said commissioning of the Miao substation would significantly improve grid connectivity and power supply in several areas of Changlang district.
“The successful charging of the 132/33 KV Miao Substation marks an important milestone towards improving grid connectivity and ensuring reliable and quality power supply to Miao, Diyun, Kharsang and adjoining areas of Changlang district,” he said in a post on X.
Mein said the achievement was the result of coordinated efforts by various agencies and stakeholders.
“Strengthening our power infrastructure is essential for the continued growth and development of the state,” said Mein, who also holds the power and hydropower portfolios.
“I appreciate the dedicated and coordinated efforts of Power Grid, the state power department, the district administration, the executing agency and all local stakeholders who contributed to making this achievement possible,” he said.
The Deputy CM said the state was steadily progressing towards building a stronger and more dependable power network. (PTI)
