ANINI, Aug 27: The District-Level Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) 2026 was held at PM SHRI GUPS Anguli here with the objective of nurturing scientific temper, curiosity, creativity, innovation and mathematical aptitude among school students of Dibang Valley district.
The programme brought together students from various schools across the district, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities through Science Quiz, Science Exhibition and Mathematics Olympiad competitions.
Held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE), Anini, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers.
The competitions were evaluated by Duyu Udi, ADO; Ruchu Tacho, Assistant Auditor; and Lamwang Aran, District Tourism Officer. The judges assessed participants on parameters including knowledge, presentation, creativity, scientific approach, accuracy and overall performance.
In the Science Quiz, VKV Anini secured the first position, followed by PM SHRI GUPS Anguli in second place and NSCBAV GUPS Thyee in third.
In the Science Exhibition, VKV Anini emerged as the winner, while NSCBAV GUPS Punli and NSCBAV GUPS Ranli secured the second and third positions respectively.
In the Mathematics Olympiad, NSCBAV GUPS Ranli emerged victorious, with PM SHRI GUPS Anguli securing the runner-up position.
The programme concluded with appreciation for the participating students, teachers, judges and organising team for their efforts in promoting scientific thinking, innovation and healthy competition among schoolchildren of Dibang Valley.
