Army celebrates Raksha Bandhan with students at Mebo HS School

PASIGHAT, Aug 28: Reaffirming its enduring bond with the local community, the Spearhead Division, under the aegis of Spear Corps, celebrated Raksha Bandhan with students of Government Higher Secondary School, Mebo, in East Siang district on Friday.

As part of the celebration, the students tied Rakhis to Army personnel, symbolising the bond of trust, respect and affection between the Indian Army and the local community. The heartfelt gesture reflected the students’ gratitude and respect for the soldiers serving the nation.

The event also provided an opportunity for warm interaction between the students and Army personnel, fostering camaraderie, mutual respect and a spirit of national integration. The engagement served as a meaningful platform to strengthen the emotional connect between the Army and the younger generation.
