NAMSAI, Sep 7: The 5th District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) meeting for FY 2026–27-cum-review of various National Health Mission (NHM) programme activities was held at the DC’s conference hall, Namsai.
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Namsai Lobsang Tsering, in presence of ZPC Chow Sujana Namchoomg, commenced with a keynote address by the District Medical Officer, followed by detailed presentations and reviews by the respective medical officers and their teams on the functioning and performance of CHCs of Chowkham & Mahadevpur, PHCs of Emphum, Lathao, Piyong & New Mohong, and District Hospital Namsai.
The meeting also reviewed the status of HPV vaccination, District TB Forum activities and the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) programme. The participating health institutions presented their achievements and highlighted key challenges and areas requiring further attention to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve health outcomes across the district.
Addressing the meeting, the DC emphasized the importance of effective coordination among stakeholders, regular monitoring and timely implementation of health programmes to ensure efficient delivery of quality healthcare services to the people of the district. (DIPRO)
