MP Tai Tagak reviews Viksit Bharat initiatives in Ziro

ZIRO, Sep 17: Rajya Sabha MP Tai Tagak on Thursday chaired a key review meeting on the “Viksit Bharat” vision at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hall of the District Secretariat at Ziro (Hapoli), focusing on aligning district-level development efforts with broader national goals.

Organised by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri district, the meeting brought together heads of departments and senior administrative officers to review strategies for translating the Viksit Bharat vision into action at the grassroots level.

Addressing the meeting, Tagak stressed the need for effective inter-departmental coordination and timely implementation of development programmes. He urged officials to keep community needs at the centre of planning and execution so that the benefits of government initiatives reach households at the grassroots level.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme welcomed the participants and set the context for the deliberations. District officers subsequently made presentations outlining proposed interventions across key pillars of the Viksit Bharat vision.

The presentations covered initiatives for youth education and skill development through My Bharat, poverty alleviation and universal access to basic amenities, women-led development, modernisation of agriculture, and upgrading public infrastructure through technology.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Old Ziro SDO Hage Tarung.
