PASIGHAT, Sep 28: Newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Arunachal Pradesh University (APU), Prof Ashan Riddi today held separate interactive meetings with the teaching faculty and non-teaching staff, calling upon the university community to work with dedication to take the APU to greater heights.
Prof Riddi, who took charge as APU's second Vice-Chancellor, succeeding founding VC Prof Tomo Riba, interacted with the faculty members and later, the non-teaching staff at the university campus.
Addressing the teaching fraternity, the VC urged the teachers to be sincere, ethical, and committed to their profession.
He also said that APU must strive to become a Centre of Excellence at par with national standards and called for introducing more multidisciplinary and skill-oriented courses in the coming academic sessions in line with NEP.
