Army felicitates APSSB achievers, skill trainees at Pasighat

PASIGHAT, Oct 1: Troops of the Spear Corps organised a felicitation ceremony at Veteran Seva Kendra, Pasighat, on September 30 under Operation Sadbhavana to recognise the achievements of local youth in competitive examinations and skill development.

Seventeen aspirants who secured selection through the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) were felicitated during the programme. Their achievement was lauded as a milestone towards meaningful career opportunities and attributed to their dedication and sustained preparation.

The ceremony also recognised 41 youth from three batches who successfully completed IT and hospitality courses conducted at the Veteran Seva Kendra under the SeVaA initiative.

The courses were aimed at imparting vocational skills, enhancing employability and enabling participants to pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The young achievers were encouraged to continue striving for excellence. An interaction was also held on career development, skill enhancement and the importance of perseverance and self-belief.

The SeVaA initiative under Operation Sadbhavana is aimed at supporting education, skill development and youth empowerment in Arunachal Pradesh by creating opportunities for young people to build sustainable livelihoods.

The ceremony marked another initiative towards enhancing skills and creating opportunities for the youth of the state.
