ITANAGAR, Oct 3: Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Saturday highlighted India’s evolving cleanliness journey, describing it as a reflection of public participation, innovation and collective responsibility.
In a social media post, Mein said the Swachh Bharat Mission’s 12-year journey has evolved from conventional cleanliness drives to technology-enabled and sustainable solutions, including AI-powered sanitation systems.
He said the campaign has grown into a people-driven movement aimed at promoting cleaner and greener communities while ensuring greater dignity for sanitation workers.
Mein also emphasised the role of citizens in nation-building, saying every act of community service contributes to the goal of a cleaner, greener and better India.
