ITANAGAR, Oct 19: Three women from Arunachal Pradesh have brought laurels to the state and the country by winning multiple titles at the Classic & Mrs Asia International 2026 pageant held in Khon Kaen, Thailand, from October 12 to 19.
Representing India under the aegis of the Mrs Arunachal Organisation, Jenny Pinggam Gaduk, Mallo Chunu Siyum and Kago Yallu Nenko secured several honours at the international pageant, showcasing their talent and representing the cultural identity of Northeast India.
Jenny Pinggam Gaduk, who represented India in the Mrs India Asia International Global-2026 category and was earlier the first runner-up at Mrs Arunachal, won the titles of Mrs Popularity and Mrs Asia International Friendship-2026.
Mallo Chunu Siyum, the reigning Mrs Tourism titleholder from Jote in Papum Pare district, secured the second runner-up position at Mrs Asia International 2026, along with the Mrs Inspiration subtitle. Her journey from homemaker and mother to an international pageant titleholder highlighted themes of confidence and women's empowerment.
Kago Yallu Nenko, the reigning Classic Mrs India–Asia International titleholder, won the Classic Mrs Inspiration title in the mature category, which recognises married women aged above 40.
The achievements of the three contestants have been welcomed by the Mrs Arunachal Organisation, whose chairperson, Ngurang Anung, supported their participation on the international platform.
Their success is expected to inspire more women, particularly those from remote communities in the Northeast, to pursue opportunities beyond geographical boundaries and represent their state and country on global platforms.
