The initiative reflected the University’s commitment to promoting a clean, healthy, and hygienic environment through community participation and collective responsibility.

Focused on the improvement, cleaning, and maintenance of sanitation facilities at RGU Balvatika and Govt Sec School (RGU campus), the initiative aimed to create a cleaner and safer environment for students, teachers, staff, and other members of the University community while spreading awareness about personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and sustainable sanitation practices.

Efforts were made to improve the usability of sanitation facilities and ensure the availability of basic amenities, including proper water supply, wherever required.

Students were sensitized on the importance of personal hygiene, proper waste disposal, environmental protection, and the responsible use and maintenance of sanitation facilities. The initiative emphasized that cleanliness is not merely a one-time activity but a continuous responsibility that requires the active participation of individuals and institutions.

The collective efforts of the volunteers, school staff, sanitation personnel, and University officials demonstrated the importance of Shramdaan as a practical expression of community service. The initiative also strengthened coordination between the RGU and the educational institutions located on its campus, encouraging a shared commitment to maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.
